Does anyone remember Cricket Dolls from the early 1980's by Playmates? I remember when these dolls first came out, I was about 5 years old and I really really really wanted one! I remember my dad telling me "Santa cant manage Cricket Doll and a Bike" lol And now I can see why.. With the amount of tapes, outfits and accessories, it could easily be a small fortune!
As I was growing up the Cricket Doll used to sit on a chair in my room, even after I moved out of my parents. I was horrified though, when i found out my mum had donated my Cricket Doll to a local child. She messed up all her hair and scribbled on her face!
I decided I still loved Cricket. I could still remember some of the little songs from the tapes, and I ended up collecting Cricket stuff.
My collection has grown and is very impressive even if I say so myself! I have Cricket, African American Cricket and the brother Corky. I have several outfits, shoes, books and tapes. I have Cricket & Corkys Directors Chair, Crickets Board Game, Sleeping bag, Cooking utensils, Doctors set & more!
